About The Item

The Game Description

Who Will Be the King of Tokyo?

Join us in the upcoming King of Tokyo Tournament and prove your dominance! Will you conquer Tokyo through sheer destruction, or outlast every other monster to claim victory?

Unleash your inner beast and fight for the crown — only the strongest will survive!

  • Maximum Players: 24
  • Schedule: May 31, 3PM

TOURNAMENT RULES

We will follow the official rules from the IELLO website (reference from World Boardgaming Championships®).

SET-UP:

All players should confirm the components before play begins, base game only. No expansion or promo cards. The seating, start player, tiles, and cards will be random.

Randomly select the 1st player, with turn order proceeding clockwise. The player in Seat 2 shuffles all the decks and reveals cards as normal.

TIEBREAKER:

  1. In the event of a tie, tiebreakers will be as follows:
  2. Everyone still alive at the end outranks everyone dead. People who die later outrank people who die earlier.
  3. For those who die at the same time (or do not die), rank by number of stars.
  4. For those who die at the same time (or do not die) with the same number of stars, rank by hearts. For those that died at the same time, this includes negative hearts: If I do 3 damage to two players, one who has one heart left and one who has three hearts left, the one with three hearts left ranks higher (assuming equal stars) since they are ahead 0 to -2.
  5. If still tied, use the total cost of all cards owned (including DISCARD power-up cards).
  6. If still tied, the next tiebreaker is the number of energy cubes.
  7. If still tied, roll six dice. Most claws win.

TIME LIMIT:

If no outright winner is established when time is called, the player with the most Stars is the winner (ties will follow the tiebreaker rules above). If a player exceeds the time allocation for their turn (2 minutes), the judge will roll once, and all effects will apply except buying cards.

PRIZES:

  • First Place: 10K worth of games
  • 2nd - 5K worth of games
  • 3rd - 3K worth of games
  • 4th - 2K worth of games
  • Participation Prize: Ibong Adarna Special Edition Promo Card

*Tournament Fee does not include your day pass. Please don't forget to secure your QC/Non-QC Day Pass or Express Pass to enter the event hall.
