This year marks the 10th anniversary of the beloved game Splendor, and to celebrate this milestone, a new edition is set to be released. For fans who’ve played countless times, there’s no need to worry—the core mechanics remain untouched. The costs, bonuses, and points on each card are exactly the same as before. There may be slight graphical differences, but gameplay won’t be affected. Plus, the quality of components, like the weighty poker chips, stays top-notch.
What has changed, though, is the artwork! The new edition takes the opportunity to rework the illustrations, giving the game a refreshed look while enhancing the readability of each card. This, in turn, improves the overall flow of gameplay.
The rulebook has also been redesigned for clarity and accessibility, and the updated version can be accessed online. A Filipino rulebook is also available if you want to learn and play Splendor using our native language.
