In his social media post, Deniel (also known as Zutto Tabletop) said:
"Back in April 2023, I got my hands on Cascadia from Gaming Library BGC, and it quickly became a favorite, whether with 2, 3, or 4 players. I played it with various game groups and my family, and it was always a hit.
Fast forward to October 2023, when I joined the Cascadia National Tournament. I placed 1st, 4th, and 1st in the first three rounds, but unfortunately, that wasn’t quite enough to secure a spot in the finals. Still, the experience of competing at that level for the first time was a thrill.
And here I am. After placing 2nd, 1st, and 3rd in the early rounds, I made it to the final table, and won by a single point!"
He also shared his thoughts about Cascadia, gave hints on his strategy and thanked his community:
